StoryCastle – award winning innovative voice-control app

StoryCastle is an award-winning innovative voice-control appplication (Google Action), I developed specifically in partnership between HarperCollins and Google.

StoryCastle was built as part of the launch activity for Google’s new “Kids and Families” dedicated service on the Google Assistant platforms (included Google Assistant application support for iOS and GooglePlay stores as well as the Google Home device range).

StoryCastle was designed to be a unique interactive platform to enable busy families to discover classic children’s audiobooks in a uniquely exciting experience.

By “opening” the StoryCastle they were greeted by the app and guided to either the Blue Garden or the Red Tower where age-appropriate curated stories would be served up each day for their listening pleasure.

Mixing the best elements of classic fantasy computer games and Jackanory style traditions for oral storytelling, StoryCastle helped thousands of families and their kids enjoy these brilliant audio recordings in a secure and fun voice controlled app.
